Beam splitter elements are diffractive optical
elements used to split a laser beam into several beams, each with the
characteristics of the original beam except for power and angle of
propagation. Directions of multiple beams can be organized as either 1-D or
2-D pattern. Holo-Or also offers multiple-spot (including double-spot)
optical elements that combine diffractive pattern for beam-multiplication
with focusing plano-convex lens. These elements provide a line or an array
of identical focal spots located in the focal plane. .
